Artists Lunch 2014

Twenty two of this year’s thirty sculptors were able to attend, including Alasdair Thompson from Edinburgh, and Matthew Spender, all the way from Tuscany. We were deliciously nourished by Fiona Cullinane, who ran Asthall Manor’s Potting Shed cafe last summer and is now the chef at The Anchor Inn in Oxford. The day was a crucial part of the team effort that is on form, with sculptors sharing ideas on installation equipment and getting to know the garden, each other and the curators.  We ended the day with Guy Stevens conducting an extraordinary experiment in the swimming pool.
