Peter Cowdrey, who led walks around the Asthall grounds in 2018 and during our birdsong weekend in 2019, will be back with more insight into the secret meanings and musicality of birdsong. Join the dawn chorus walk on 3rd July at 4 am. We have added a new date to this series of workshops at on form this summer. Working outside with a sketchbook is like a visual diary and a great way of capturing a brief moment. This workshop focuses on painting the undergrowth and the sculptures too. Explore ways of describing peripheral vision by overlapping washes of acrylic on canvas to create an almost completely abstract start point.
