Stephen Fox
Stephen Fox was born in Oxford in 1954. He received no formal art training after his fourth year at school, where he won a prize . By 1981, he was a self-employed carpenter and builder, and began to carve (wood, at first) in 1985. In 1990, he moved to France, and began to work mainly with limestone and marble. He now lives between Normandy and Oxford.
