Jude Tucker
I have always worked as an artist and have explored many different mediums, including ceramics, printmaking and
large charcoal drawings.
In 2003, in an attempt to recover from a period of “artist’s block”, I went to Portland with my daughter to carve in Tout Quarry. That was the beginning of my life as a stone carver.
After a year studying stonemasonry at Bath I moved
down to London to do a two year postgraduate course in stone carving at the City and Guilds of London Art College. Whilst there I had the opportunity to design and carve replacement grotesques for St. George’s Chapel, Windsor.
Since graduating in 2006 I have been represented by Jaggedart Gallery.
I have now returned to live near Stratford on Avon where I have a workshop close to my home.
